W. Don Whyte

More than three decades of experience developing large-scale amenity oriented communities throughout Canada and the United States. Responsibilities have included all aspects of land development from finance to marketing.
Moved to Utah in 2007 from Tampa, FL, where he was President of the Southeast Region for North America’s largest private residential land development company. He was named Developer of the Year in 2002 by the Tampa Bay Builder’s Association.
Served as co-chair for Reality Check Tampa Bay, a major visioning exercise for the Tampa Bay area. Served on the Century Commission, which was a group established by the Governor of Florida to make recommendations to the legislature and governor about Florida looking forward 50 years.
